Bring on the festivals!

The lineup has been announced. The site has been revamped. And you’ve got your tickets. All you have to do now is figure out what to wear at Osheaga. Follow these fashion tips for impeccable style in good—or bad—weather!

Be ready for anything

The festival takes place from August 2 to 4; that means the chances of hot weather or severe thunderstorms is likely.

In case of rain

To stay dry, wear a neon or metallic parka that is both lightweight and stylish. When it comes to footwear, rubber boots or military-style boots will keep you feet dry!

In case of extreme heat

Set your sights on a light dress or a playsuit! Make sure you bring sunscreen, a hat and your Teva or Birkenstock flat sandals. The key to comfort is to stay hydrated. Remember to bring a reusable bottle and fill it regularly at Osheaga’s watering stations.

In case of light wind

If it’s windy out, put on your most comfortable jeans and a long kimono. A trendy pajama set or playsuit are also great options.

Go for cult-classic pieces

You can always stick to festival tradition. There are many different types of clothing and essential accessories that have proven themselves over time for style and comfort. All you need to do is match them up well and be creative!

The fringed jacket

Wanting to add a touch of country to your look? Wear a fringed suede jacket with a little light dress, western-style belt and round sunglasses. Stunning!

Denim shorts

You can’t go wrong with shorts! Go for the faded version or patchwork pattern and match it with a printed blouse and suede booties.

Tie-dyed prints

In the spirit of California, opt for a tie-dyed t-shirt or dress! This multi-coloured print is a must-have for the summer. It pairs really well with denim and a few neon-coloured accessories.

The crochet top

Whether you opt for a crochet camisole or a long-sleeved sweater, pick one in rainbow colours to really pack a punch! If it is somewhat see-through, then you can wear a swimsuit or a lace bra underneath!

The long dress

The hippie-chic look is a festivalgoer’s favourite! Choose a dress with the liberty print or English embroidery. Laced sandals, hair clips and a straw bag can be your go-to accessories.

The rock-band t-shirt

Get one with the image of your favourite band on the front—and really stand out! Pair it with a leather skirt for maximum style and finish off your look with a touch of scarlet-red lipstick. Rock on!

Dad sneakers

The most daring fashionistas out there will opt for the immaculate version of dad sneakers. But if they’re bright-white, you may be disappointed at the end of the festival. Instead, choose colourful sneakers to add an extra wow to your look.

Osheaga is the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone—in style! Why not challenge your friends to a fashion face-off? Coordinate your outfits using the same colours or be as beautifully bold as you can! Enjoy the shows!
